Distribution Partnerships
We want to improve the way you think of design.
Our entire process is set up to allow fluid and continuous change. Our belief is that you should never have to sell something people don’t like, and that you should have the ability to change the shapes, colors, and aesthetics of the products on your shelves. If you have feedback, ideas, customization requests, or a particular brand identity in mind, let us know below - we can work with you to give you what you want.
If you have something in mind that you know your customers would love, let’s make it happen.

This design comes from a lifelong obsession with oceans and waves. First as a spellbound kid looking at the shapes and reflections of the water from the shores of the Puget Sound, then as a teenager taking photographs of water and beaches to try to share the inspirations. These feelings later carried me through the study water as a computational system to try to more faithfully represent it in product designs like this light.
Every one of these lights is different, taking its shape from a different simulation of water. They then get 3D printed, wired, and hand-finished in my workshop in Bellingham, Washington. The material is PLA, a bioplastic made from fermented plant starches.
This item works well as a side-lamp for a living-room or bedroom, or as an accent light for an office.
Dimensions:
8x8x1.5" (20x20x4.5cm)
This ring design was inspired by the root systems of plants which enmesh and entangle beneath our feet. Trees have been an inspiration to me my entire life, as a kid I loved to climb them to read books in their branches. As an adult I studied plants as iterative algorithmic systems to further appreciate how they grow and to be able to more faithfully represent their shapes.
The shape of this ring comes from two root systems intertwining, strengthening one-another, and forming a distinct whole. Each piece is a unique design, emerging out of a different simulation of plant growth. They then get 3D printed in wax and cast in precious metals by hand. This process means each ring is a unique reflection of nature.
When roots are strong and deep, trees weather intense storms, slides, and floods - they grow to great heights and bloom in beautiful displays. Each of us is an expression of our roots and relations which build and strengthen us - our broad and reaching branches like reflections of our great depths.

This light was inspired by different ways of conceptualizing the passage of time - each layer is an ocean surface, and as you move across the layers, you see how the ocean shifts and changes across time. This is a generative product, which means that every light is unique.
Dimensions are approximately 6” x 4” x 2”. This piece is best used as an accent light for brightening up a desk, shelf, or bedside table. Power is supplied using a USB-c cable and will require a USB outlet.
This piece is delicate, much like a paper lantern, and should be handled with care. These lights are 3D printed using PLA, which is a bioplastic made from fermented plant starches. Please expect a lead-time of at least a week or two for processing as each piece is custom made.
The forest blooms and unfolds, grows, and dies with the natural flow of things. Everything seems to be in its place, well proportioned, and intricately detailed. Oftentimes I wonder if the reason we create is an attempt to satisfy the disconnection we have from nature - to find some way to be closer to the unfolding of things - to find the nature within ourselves.
Our culture usually things of humans as separate from nature. We tend to see it from a distance, through windows and screens. When we think of our own nature, it is easy to feel the same artificiality and detachment - but it is undeniable, we are a part of this world and ecosystem. The plants and animals are our distant relatives. We belong here, together - and though we can forget that nature, it is still there, and we carry its essence with us wherever we go. We are the unfolding, blooming and changing buds of the tree of life, and although in some sense we experience life as disparate and discontinuous, in another sense we are all the connected expressions of the same experience, reaching into the world, feeling, growing, and finding ourselves.
These earring designs came out of experiments in computer simulations of growth patterns, where each piece reflects a unique growing system. Every set is a one-off which is mathematically generated, 3D printed, and then hand-cast in metals with lost-wax casting.

We all have memories with the ocean and the feelings it gives us. The experience washes over us with delicacy and vastness. We see it shine in the eyes and smiles of the people with us - we can’t help but shine ourselves.
When we look at the ocean, we see our lives - our thoughts turn inward, we become aware of our feelings. We see ourselves and our memories. When we see the water, we see reflections - the ocean communicates nothing, but says everything. When we are in love, it is a similar sensation - a sense of self-evidence and reflection, saying nothing and everything. It was in this spirit that we set out to study the ocean, and find some way to represent it.
Oceans are virtually shapeless, forever changing and transforming, exploring, crashing, and swirling. To get closer to this impossible form, we are using next-generation techniques of procedural modeling and 3D printing to make every piece an intricate and unique ocean surface. Every piece is a one-off which is mathematically generated, 3D printed, and then cast in metals by hand with a lost-wax casting process.
When words do not say enough, we turn to expressions and experiences - a sailing trip, a day at the beach, a sunset reflected off the water. We wanted to create something to carry those feelings with us everywhere, a small symbol of the impossible beauty of nature both inside and outside us.

These boxes are CNC machined from Figured Maple to have intricate 3D ocean surfaces. These ocean surfaces are made using computer simulations of water, altering the design and making each box unique.
Figured Maple is also known as “Fiddleback Maple” as Luthiers prize the wood for its resonant qualities. Each piece gets hand-finished and dyed black, and then lightly sanded to create highlights, before getting a final glossy coating.
I start making each piece after an order is placed, so please allow around three weeks for fabrication!
Dimensions are about 9”x3”x1.4”, perfect for Jewelry, Treasures, Paintbrushes, or Pens.

This lantern was inspired by different ways of conceptualizing the passage of time. Each layer is a 3D printed ocean surface which is generated algorithmically. As you move across the layers, you move forward and backward in time and see the ocean shift and change. This is a generative product, which means that each lantern is completely unique.
The 3D printed material is polylactic acid (PLA), a degradable biopolymer made from fermented plant starches. Our bodies even make lactic acid when we exercise (although in its unpolymerized form.) This item is delicate, like a paper lantern, and should be handled with care. It can be quite hard to make, so please expect a lead-time of at least a week or two for processing if you choose to order. Thanks for understanding!
Dimensions are approximately 5.5” x 5.5” x 9”. By default, we sell with a 8’ cord with a standard 120v US plug. This item includes a line-dimmable 2700k LED. For safety, do not use anything other than LED bulbs of <10 watts.
Contour maps are a lovely way to bring our favorite hiking spots and landscapes with us indoors. They’re a great conversation-starter and make for beautiful gifts and decorations! I CNC machine these from solid Cherry wood and laser-engrave them with a Contour map of a region of your choice, whether that’s a vacation spot, the place you grew up, or just your home turf.
This design has non-slip chamfers on the back and a modern angular design. Wood is finished with Boiled Linseed Oil & Beeswax.
Other woods and sizes are available on request! Please allow about three weeks for fabrication. All fabrication is done in Bellingham, WA.
